SEEDtank is Singapore's spin of the popular US venture capitalist TV show - Sharktank.

Like Sharktank, SEEDtank is a platform where companies seek seed investments from venture capitalists to start, grow or save their companies.  

 

Unlike Sharktank, SEEDtank relies more on "Human factor".  The quality of the founding team, especially that of the CEO, is of paramount concern.  The CEO should possess the following traits:

• candid, likeable & can connect with us

• possesses solid experience in the space

• possesses a do-or-die attitude

Held twice a month, startups pitch their concepts to judges in hopes of securing an investment.  Startups that are able to articulate the investment opportunity gets funded in cash and/or services.

 

 

Details:

• Held every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.  Application to pitch is by appointment via this link ONLY.

• Purpose is to check for readiness: 

  • if investee can match with Seed Ventures

  • if investee is mentally & emotionally ready to go on the funding journey.

  • if investee has the resources (time, manpower, seriousness etc).

• Not a technical exercise to plough through documents and spreadsheets.

• SV will point out shortfalls and provide advice
